Toshiba 42C3030D big screen LCD on a budget

At 42in and available for well under £1000 the Toshiba Regza 42C3030D offers quite possibly the best route into budget big screen viewing.

2 HDMI and 2 Scarts along with a PC/vga input and component input form a standard rather than a dazzling connectivity set, and the 42C3030D comes without the frills promised for the upcoming 'X' and 'Z' series Toshibas.

The Toshiba 42C3030D is part of Toshiba's entry level Regza 'C' series which also includes 26in, 32in and 37in models.

Look out for the 'X' and 'Z' series coming soon. Both feature full 1080p resolutions and 3 HDMI sockets. The flagship 'Z' series comes with ultra flat panels and 100hz refresh rates.
