Offering 1366 x 768 rather than the Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution of the slightly higher spec V4000, the V4500 series from Sony offers a more affordable alternative.

The V4500 series includes 26in, 32in and 37in panels which all benefit from the latest incarnation of Sony's picture processing technology 'Bravia Engine 2'. There are 3 HDMI inputs and a claimed contrast ratio of 20,000:1.

Lacking Full HD, USB picture frame functionality, WCG-CCFL backlight, 10bit video processing and xv colour found on the W4000 series, the V4500 panels still appear to offer a tempting package for consumers.
