
The announcement by Sky that a High Definition version of their 'Eurosport' channel is now available brings the satellite broadcaster's HD offering up to a total of 19.
Eurosport is an established broadcaster of sporting events from around the world. They are currently covering the 'Tour De France' and will be showing highlights of this years Olympic games in Beijing.
Sky's director of channels and operations, Nicola Bamford, commented; "We’re delighted to welcome yet another high quality channel brand to our leading HD service. HD channels currently available from Sky include: Eurosport HD, Sky Sports HD1, HD2 and HD3, Sky Movies Screen 1HD, Screen 2HD, Sky Movies Premiere HD, Sky Box office 1 HD, Sky Box Office 2 HD, Arts HD, History HD, National Geographic HD, Discovery HD, Luxe TV HD, Channel 4 HD, FX HD, Rush HD, Sky 1 HD and BBC HD.
