Hardly a day goes by without Sony announcing a new range of LCD TV's or an upgrade to an existing series. In this case Sony have upgraded their W4000 with the main addition of 100Hz Motionflow technology to give us the W4500.
Alongside 100Hz Motionflow, the W4500 introduces IB (Image Blur) reduction. According to Sony, the technology "cleans" original frames before new frame insertion to boost image sharpness, with reduced motion blur.
The W4500 is DLNA compliant. DLNA is a standard for creating wired and wireless interoperable networks where digital content such as photos, music, and videos can be shared through consumer electronics (CE), personal computers (PCs), and mobile devices in and beyond the home.
Elsewhere, contrast ratio is up to 50,000:1 and the W4500 gets more powerful speakers.
The W4500 series is currently available in 40in, 46in and 52in models and is available in UK stores now.
