Sharp's DH77 LCD TV's go green at a touch

Sharp's latest range of LCD TV's features a special 'eco' key on the remote control which activates an energy saving mode.

Eco mode is simply a convenient method to access the TV's menu driven picture setting options, but Sharp have to be applauded for bringing an energy saving option to the forefront of the viewing experience. In addition to the 'eco' mode Sharp have introduced an "Optical Picture Control" which further reduces power consumption by automatically adjusting the backlight brightness according to ambient lighting.

The DH77 range of LCD TV's are available in 32in, 42in, 46in and 52in sizes. Sharp have added their proprietary image-enhancing technology, 'Natural Clear Panel' along with 100Hz refresh rates.

Elsewhere there are three HDMI inputs, Full HD resolutions and contrast ratios between a claimed 30,000 - 50,000:1.

Sharp's DH77 range of LCD TV's are available in the UK now.
