With new high end, mid range and entry level Blu-ray players arriving soon, Pioneer have something to suit all tastes.
The BDP-LX52, BDP-320 and BDP-120 can output all of the HD audio formats as native bitstream or decode them internally.
All of Pioneer's new Blu-ray players support BD-Live, with The LX52 and 320 gaining the benefit of internal storage for BD-Live content, while the 120 has a 2GB flash drive that plugs into the USB port.
Pioneer's high end BDP-LX52 features Pioneer's Precision Quartz Lock System, which has been designed to eliminate inconsistent audio, although to gain the full benefit you will need one of Pioneer's compatible audio receivers. The quartz oscillator technology eliminates the influence of jitter that can occur with the transfer of sound bits, synchronizing music data from the Blu-ray Player to the receiver.
The BDP-120 can output 1080p/24fps pictures with 36-bit Deep Colour, while the BDP-320 and BDP-LX52 support 48-bit Deep Colour.
The BDP-320 is due to arrive later this month for £400, with the BDP-120 and BDP-LX52 following in July for £270 and £550 respectively.
